Notice Something DIFFERENT About Your Adsense Account?

It seems that there has been a little cosmetic change to your Adsense account!

It seems that Adsense has changed the way your Adsense account page looks. According to their blog they assure us Adsense publishers that these changes do not affect the way our Adsense earnings are calculated.

Did you already see this? If not, take a look at the screen shot below:

As you can see the top portion of the screenshot shows the way your Adsense page looked BEFORE Adsense changed it. The top of your adsense page used to say "Today's Earnings" but NOW it says "Today's ESTIMATED Earnings!

According to Adsense this change that they have made will not affect your Adsense earnings.

Basically what they are saying is that your adsense earnings aren't officially tabulated until your adsense earning numbers are verified (which usually occurs around the 10th of the next month before they send your Adsense payment).

I can honestly say that I have seen this happen on my own Adsense account where at the end of the month there will be an Adsense earning total but by the 10th of the next month that Adsense earning number has changed - in my case it changed to a higher number - thank goodness.

A more detailed explanation of this can be found on the official Adsense blog by clicking here.

Guess What! Adsense Publisher Being Blackmailed!

Adsense Pirates?

I could hardly believe it when I read about it!

It seems that one of the Adsense publishers was being blackmailed from someone (the place of origin seems to be from Algeria) who was using their Adsense search engine to click multiple times on the Adsense ads. Of course that made the Adsense publisher's adsense earnings go up but its also a red flag to invalid click activity!.

After the Adsense publsiher's adsense earnings went up they received an email from the blackmailer wanting the Adsense publisher to send them half of the Adsense money that they earned because of the increased clicks otherwise the blackmailer would continue to make many Adsense clicks thereby causing a red flag to Adsense in the hopes that Adsense would ban the Adsense publisher's account!

Fortunately from what I know so far, the Adsense publisher didn't give in to the blackmailer but posted about their experience online.

You can find out more about this by clicking here.

How To Make Money From Home Using Adsense?

If you want to know how to make money from home using Google's Adsense program here is a simple explanation:

First you have to have a website or blog and you have to make sure that your sites will be able to have the Google Adsense ads on them. Not ALL hosting sites let you to be able to add Adsense ads to them!

One you have your website or blog you can then submit it to Google's Adsense program. They will need to know this information because they will first have to review and approve your site before you can be accepted into the Adsense program.

Once your site has been approved you will then go through the steps of deciding the style and look of your Adsense ads. You don't get to choose which advertisers appear on your site because that will be determined by the content (wording) on your site.

How To Make Money Using The Google Adsense Program:

The adsense revenue that you earn will depend on a number of things. The more traffic you have to your site the more potential ad clicks that you will get.

Another tactic is to use high-paying keywords. These are words or phrases that advertisers pay more money to advertise for. (You can order my list of high-paying keywords by going to my The Adsense Consultant Blog - Part 2.

As an Adsense Consultant I can tell you that there are some different ways that one can use to increase their Adsense revenue or how much Adsense earnings one can make. You should also be able to find all kinds of Adsense Consultant tips and adsense consulting tips by just find some online sites relating to how one can make more money with the Google Adsense program.

Now there are some people that have earned quite a lot of money using Adsense and there have even been a few Adsense Millionaires out there!

Here is a link to one of my more popular blog posts, Just How Much Money Are People Making With The Google Adsense Program.

Are You Intersted In Taking An Adsense Survey?

If you are an Adsense publisher then you might be interested in taking a survey that they are offering.

So far I can't see any mention of one getting paid or given a gift of some kind.

Adsense says the survey is to help them receive feedback on how they can make their Adsense program better.

You can take a look at the survey by clicking here but when you go to the link you'll have to sign in to your Adsense account first.

"My Google Adsense Account Has Been Disabled!" What Can I Do To Get It Back!

The most major reason that Google disables an account is because of click fraud / invalid clicks. If you feel that your account was unjustly disabled then you can appeal the decision by going to the Adsense site and going through the process of filing an appeal. There have been a few who have managed to appeal the decision and have actually managed to get their disabled Adsense account back!

The Earliest Adsense Payment?

Well I know that us Adsense Publishers are anxiously awaiting our "payment in progress" lines unfortunately it won't be showing up during the weekend! Maybe Monday or maybe Tuesday at the earliest - I, myself am hoping for Monday!

However just in case you are curious, the earliest that I have gotten an Adsense payment was during December. It seems that Adsense tries to give us our earnings in time for us to spend it before Christmas. (It is rumored that Adsense tries to pay out the "payment in progress" process sooner during the month of December so that they can "close the year" as soon as possible.)

But the earliest that I have ever gotten an Adsense payment was on December 22nd when I got my Adsense in check form.

Unfortunately this past December I didn't get my Adsense payment until AFTER December 25th! You see I got the "PIP" (payment in progress) line on December 24th and since it usually takes 24 hours I actually had to wait 48 hours because of the Christmas (Dec. 25th) holiday.

On months other than December my earliest Adsense payments have been on the 23rd of the month! The latest? Actually got one on the 29th of the month - Yikes - that one was agony!

It really depends on the format of the month and even then you can't say that 100% - so it is very iffy as to when we will actually get our Adsense payment but the average date is usually the 25th of the month - sometimes earlier and sometimes later but the 25th of the month is about the average.

It Seems That Not Everyone Is A Fan Of The Adsense Program!

I got the most interesting comment for this blog a few days ago but it had so many curse words in it that I decided not to add the comments to this blog.

Basically what the comment said was that who ever posted the comment didn't seem to be too happy with the Adsense program. Basically what they said was that as soon as one starts to make money with the Adsense program then Adsense cancels your account!

Of course this is not true for everybody. I take it that this person has had a very bad experience with the Adsense program and I really don't know if it was their fault or if it was Adsense's fault. The person that posted the comment didn't leave any details on why they felt this way so I have no way of knowing!

If you really have a problem with the Adsense program then you should really state the details as to why! There have been times when the powers that be at Adsense have admitted that they have made mistakes and they do take steps to solve those mistakes. Adsense publishers have been known to appeal being discontinued from the Adsense program and they have won their appeals!

So if you really have a problem with the Adsense program then you should really include some details and let us know why you feel so strongly against the Adsense program because we may be able to help you!

That is of course why I am an Adsense Consultant - after all!

The Next Payment In Progress? It Doesn't Look Good!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but according to my calculations - of previous months with the same date format as July 2009, the next "PIP" date just may be Monday, July 27th - the last week of July!

Let's hope that I am wrong!

"What Do I Need To Join Adsense?"

It never occurred to me that there would be people out there who still didn't know how to use the Adsense program - that is until I saw some most recently post this question to one of the message boards. So here is what you have to have in order to join the Adsense program.

The most important thing that you will need is a website or blog! You can get a free blog at Blogger.com - in fact it would be a very good idea to get a Blog at Blogger.com because they encourage you to add the Adsense ads to your blog!

An important note here is that before you can join the Adsense program you will have to have a website or blog because you will have to submit the url of your site so that Adsense can review your site and then decide whether or not your site will be approved for the Adsense program!

Are You Curious About The Next "Payment In Progress" Sighting?

then please be sure to check out the link below. It is a discussion forum about this month's (May 2009) "PIP" sightings!

So far only 1 person in India has posted that they have received their "payment in progress" line and that was received last Saturday, May 23, 2009.

Another person posted that they received their "PIP" line this past Friday, May 22, but they didn't post their general location and whether or not they receive their Adsense payments in the form of a regular check or by bank transer.

Personally I think that the "payment in progress" lines will start showing up for us in the US tomorrow.

The Adsense Site Will Be Down For Maintenance Today!

Just in case you go to check your Adsense earnings today, please be advised that the Adsense site will be down for maintenance today! Although "the powers that be" assure us that our Adsense accounts will still be earning money.

The Adsense site is expected to be back up and running sometime later in the late afternoon.

Do You Have To Pay To Join Google's Adsense Program?

I thought that everybody already knew the answer to this but I was wrong because I saw someone post this question on another forum. So here is the answer for the record:

No you do not have to pay any money to join Google's Adsense program. However what you will need is a website or blog that has some content on it because when you sign up for the Adsense program you are going to have to submit the url of your site so that Adsense can review and approve it.

But you don't have to pay any money to sign up for the Adsense program. However what may give you cause for c0ncern might be the fact that Adsense will ask for information from you like your social security number - they will need that information because if you make over a certain amount of money then that amount has to be reported to the IRS.

Adsense Is On Twitter!

Did you know that Adsense belongs to Twitter? I didn't know about this until today when I was looking for more information about why I hadn't received my "payment in progress" line for April 2009!

(You can find out more about this by going to my current Adsense Consultant Blog.)

Just in case you didn't know, Twitter is sort of like an instant-messaging service that lets you keep updated on specific people - in this case - Adsense - who has just posted about the current status of paying people their adsense payment this month!

Scheduled Site Maintenance For Saturday April 18, 2009!

On this upcoming Saturday the Adsense engineers will be performing site maintenance from approximately 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM PDT.

Please make a note of this so that you won't go crazy when you go to check your Adsense earnings and see that the site is down!

On a good note, these scheduled maintenance sessions usually preceed the "payment in progress" process - so lets keep our fingers crossed!

Well I Checked My Adsense Earnings For Last Month..........

Since the month of March 2009 has come to an end, I checked to see what my adsense earnings were. I was hoping that I would surpass February 2009's earnings but I came just a tad short of that!

I'm kind of disappointed but I really should be grateful because I have earned more than enough to meet the minimum $100 amount needed to get an Adsense payment next month!

Like a lot of other Adsense earners, my adsense earnings are down but after filling out my 2009 income taxes I have come to find that I have made more Adsense money in 2008 than I did in 2007! So that is definitely a sign of improvement!

So all there is to do now is work on my Adsense numbers to keep them growing!

I have to say that I have had a "see-saw" kind of month for March 2009 as far as my Adsense earnings go! There are some days when I make twice as much (or even three times as much) as certain days and then there are some days (only a few - thank goodness) when I barely make over $1!

This kind of thing wrecks havoc on my nerves! But since I am an Adsense Consultant, I have to practice what I preach!

"Where Do I Paste The Adsense Coding On My Blog?"

this isn't an easy question to answer.

First of all it's going to depend on where your blog is hosted. Some sites like Myspace.com doesn't allow you to have adsense ads on your MySpace pages - including your MySpace blog.

Now if you're talking about a blog hosting site such as Blogger.com there are a couple of answers. First of all its going to depend on whether you're using Blogger's old or new format. In their older format you are going to have to copy and paste the adsense coding in yourself and WHERE you post the coding is going to depend on WHERE you want your Adsense ads to appear - meaning do you want your ads to appear on the side of your blog or do you want them to appear after your blog posts? This is going to require that you have at least some knowledge of html coding so that you will know where you can paste in the ads so that it doesn't ruin the template of your blog.

However if you are using Blogger.com's newer format then while you can still copy and paste in the coding yourself you also have the option of letting Blogger.com add the codes for you - However you must first give Blogger.com permission to add the coding.

Once you have done that then you can let Blogger.com add your Adsense coding to either the side of your blog - where you add it as an additional gadget. Or you can add the ads right under your blog posts - of which you are only allowed to add a certain number of Adsense ad blocks.

If You Are Getting Low Earnings Per Click Then It Is Because.....

the content on your site is only attracting low-paying advertisers! On my The Adsense Consultant Blog, I am selling a high-paying keyword listing. These keywords bring in at least $10 or more per click!

But you can also find sites that purport to also have high-paying keywords.

You should also realize that not every click is going to earn you a high earning simply because every time that your site is accessed the ads will change and that means that the content that the adsense spiders are crawling for will be different as well.

If you want to earn more per click then you have to add high-paying keyword content to your site!

There Has Been A Payment In Progress Sighting For January 2009!

However I don't know how much credit that I can give to this sighting. First of all someone posted that they got their "PIP" line Monday but they are located in India and they get their adsense payment by check.

Another person posted that they got their "payment in progress" line today and they are from the United States - the northeastern part - and they also receive their adsense payment by check. However this is the only person from the US that has posted that they have gotten their "PIP" line. Usually I can be more assured that my "payment in progress" line will show when others in the US has posted that they have received theirs.

The last time I looked (about a few minutes ago) someone from Australia posted that they got their "PIP" line showing in their adsense account.

On a more happier note, I did get that "You are scheduled to receive a payment...... line showing in my Adsense payment history - I got that last week which is a good indication that the "payment in progress" process has actually begun.

So I'll keep checking and let y'all know...................

Why Are There Only Public Service Ads On My Site?

One of the main reasons that there may only be public service ads on your site is because the Adsense "spiders" can't find any content on your site that is appealing to advertisers.

One of the best solutions would be for you to re-work the content on your site and / or at least add some high-paying keyword content to your site.

If you would like to have a copy of a

"High-Paying Keyword List"

just visit my The Adsense Consultant Blog - Part II where you will be able to order a copy of the high-paying keyword list.
